About The Event
Ponds are a really valuable addition to any garden and can provide a interesting and varied habitat for a lot of different wildlife. They do need looking after though and regular maintenance to tackle the overgrown plants, and weeds ensure that the water stays healthy for any fish or other wildlife.
Working on our pond at the Walled Garden we will go through a minimally invasive maintenance that will to keep the ecosystem as balanced as we can. We will talk about how to prepare for maintenance, striping out the nuisance plants and dividing and replanting what we want to encourage next year.
