About The Event
Marks I Make on the World is a writing workshop led by trained and experienced facilitator Kate Pawsey and open to all teenagers, whatever their literacy skills.
In this workshop pleasure in the creative process is given priority. It is designed specifically to create an environment where participants feel free and enabled to drop in to the natural flow of their imaginations.
OPEN TO OLDER CHILDREN / YOUNG ADULTS
This group workshop is for older children / young adults. It is an invitation to come and experience where our words can lead us when we are encouraged to become imaginative, subjective and curious.
A SAFE PLACE FOR CREATIVE EXPLORATION
The workshop provides a safe place where we can explore what we wish to say and how we wish to say it. It is a space to stimulate and be stimulated by each others' ideas. Prompts will include accessible, published poems and the treasures of The Walled Garden to generate fresh, flowing, reflective, creative and expressive writing.
